Dear Substrate ecosystem community,

We are excited to announce the completion of our grant proposal to provide an open-source toolset for custom data dashboard creation. This toolset includes an Editor, Parser, and Management Tools, all under the Apache 2.0 License. We have also provided a wealth of widgets are expected to cover over 90% of the Subscan explorer component library in the future, and support commonly used blockchain data sources such as HTTP API, GraphQL, State, and LocalStorage.

Using this toolset, developers and users without a development background can easily customize blockchain data views and create user-friendly explorer UIs. Customized widgets can also be integrated into websites, Dapps, or any other web views. We welcome the community to use and provide feedback on the toolset, which is available on GitHub at:
https://github.com/subscan-explorer/widget-interface

Our ultimate goal is to create a data visualization publishing and collaboration platform similar to Dune. During this month, we plan to publish time-limited free online services based on this toolset, enabling users to create and submit widgets to the Subscan explorer.

We received a W3F grant in 2020 for Subscan Essentials, which provides solutions for Substrate-based blockchain data indexing and parsing. As the core code of Subscan, it has been used by many explorers of the Substrate ecosystem and welcomed by the community. However, we recognized the need for a developer-friendly, extensible, and economical explorer solution to help the community grow better. We hope that this toolset will meet those needs and provide better public products and infrastructure for the Substrate ecosystem.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

Best regards,
The Subscan Team
